The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-Manitoba Chapter (CHHA-MB)

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-Manitoba Chapter (CHHA-MB) is a not-for-profit organization that is run by and for those who are hard of hearing. Our focus is to address the needs of Manitobans impacted by hearing loss through advocacy, education, and community engagement.

CHHA-MB provides a place where one can ask questions and explore options thereby becoming informed consumers of hearing health care services and products. Through quarterly newsletters, speech reading, peer and tinnitus support groups and classes, and public hearing loss awareness presentations the hard of hearing in Manitoba are empowered with the skills and resources they need to manage and live well with their hearing loss.

CHHA-MB also provides customized hearing accessibility training workshops and presentations to businesses, government, health care and educational organizations who are seeking to make their organizations compliant  with  the Accessibility for Manitobans Act.

The advent of Covid has created many challenges for those struggling with hearing loss; CHHA-MB has worked diligently to continue to meet the needs of the hard of hearing in Manitoba. If you have any questions or would like more information on our services please check out the website at chha-mb.ca or call us at 204-975-3037.
